“Where’s the Winged Wheel?” illustration series

Who can say no to a “Where’s Waldo?” game? It’s fun, nostalgic and memorable.

During the quarantine lock down, we wanted to connect to our fans by offering some of the all-time favorite brain teasers, such as “Spot the different” and “Word Search”. Games have proven to help people during tough times by reducing anxiety. Creating a “Where’s Waldo?” inspired game seems to be a no brainer.

In order to have these illustrations released in a short time frame, the isometric illustration style has been chosen for three reasons:

  1. Illustrator actions can be used to speed up the process.

  2. These vector illustrations are resolution independent, meaning they can be scaled up or down without losing quality.

  3. Since all the elements in an isometric illustration share the same perspective, all the elements can be used in any of the illustrations in the series.

The partnership with Geico has added another layer of fun to these Where’s the Winged Wheel?” games. It was fun to try to put the Geico Gecko into the scenes. I hope the fans enjoy locating both the Winged wheel and the gecko as much as me hiding them while twirling my evil mustache.
